We understand the importance of learning through play in the early years. Our class is specifically designed to cater to this natural curiosity, providing a space where young children can explore various textures, sounds, colors, shapes, and sizes. We also offer opportunities for grow motor development through age-appropriate materials. The class allows parents and caregivers to spend quality time with their children.
We know how important it is for kids to have space and feel comfortable, which is why we keep our classes small—just 10 children per class, with one caregiver accompanying each child.

Create a magical woodland filled with tiny houses, mushrooms, fairies, forest animals, natural materials, and shimmering colors.
🍎 10/10 – Apples & Pumpkins
Celebrate fall with apple stamping, pumpkin painting, warm seasonal colors, harvest textures, and sensory exploration.
👾 10/17 – Friendly Monsters
Design silly, colorful monsters using paint, collage materials, playful textures, and lots of imagination—nothing scary here!
🧪 10/24 – Spooky Science
Mix, pour, bubble, fizz, and experiment with colorful potions and delightfully messy Halloween-inspired art.
🎃 10/31 – Halloween Art Party
Enjoy a festive celebration filled with pumpkins, ghosts, costumes, collaborative art, sensory play, and creative Halloween fun!
Cancellation policy:
We’re super flexible and give you up to one year to use your make-up class!
The only thing we ask is that you let us know by email or text message at least 24 hours in advance if you’re unable to attend your scheduled class.
You’re welcome to use your make-up class during one of our Open Art Play sessions, or you can apply its value as a gift card toward another Childway class or event.

What Is Process Art?
At Childway Studio, we believe that the creative process is more important than the final product.
Our classes are process art, not teacher-led craft classes. There are no step-by-step instructions, templates, or expectations that every child creates the same project. Instead, children are invited to explore, experiment, and create freely using a variety of high-quality art materials and sensory experiences.
Our classes feel much like open art play, but with one important difference: the same small group of children meets together each week for six weeks.
This consistency helps children:
Build friendships with familiar peers.
Feel comfortable and confident in their environment.
Develop trust with their teacher and classmates.
Gain the confidence to explore, create, and express themselves freely.
A predictable, familiar setting is especially important for young children. When they feel safe and secure, they are more willing to take creative risks, engage deeply in play, and develop independence.
Our role is not to tell children what to make—we carefully prepare inspiring invitations to create, observe their interests, and support their individual ideas. Every child’s artwork is unique because every child’s imagination is unique.
